About this contract

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Authority have a requirement to upgrade the fuelling facilities at 6 Fire Stations located in the county of Bedfordshire. The works comprise of:- a. Move redundant fuel tank and dispenser from Kempston Fire Station and reinstall it at Bedford Fire Station. b. Move redundant fuel tank and dispenser Dunstable Fire Station and reinstall at Luton Fire Station. c. Relocate the new and existing fuel tanks and dispensers at Luton Fire Station d. At Bedford, Headquarters, Leighton Buzzard, Luton and Stopsley Fire Station, where the tanks are fitted with battery high and low level alarms, replace with mains power high and low level. e. At Bedford, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Luton and Stopsley Fire Station installation of mains power leak detector sensor to detect leaks within the cavity of the double skinned tanks.
