About this contract
The Council is seeking a supplier to lead a general awareness raising programme of fuel poverty alleviation assistance and energy efficiency throughout the Borough. Although concentrated in the east, Wirral has pockets of fuel poverty throughout the Borough as well as fuel poor households living in more affluent areas. In addition, the areas of the Borough with the highest average energy consumption per household are concentrated in the more affluent areas. Energy efficiency awareness in these areas therefore has the potential to have a bigger impact on reducing CO2 emissions. The contract is initially for 18 months starting on 1st October 2018, with the option to extend annually for 12 month periods for up to a further two years.
