About this contract

The council is looking to appoint supplier(s) for the supply of cleaning materials and equipment, clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE). The requirement is for one supplier to deliver a set weekly order of cleaning and janitorial items straight to a number of designated sites within the Borough of Scarborough and also for one supplier to attend the stores room located at the Dean Road Depot YO12 7QS a minimum of once a week and undertake a quick inventory for items used from labelled pick-bins. Used items (mainly PPE and Workwear) are identified and are re-ordered, to an agreed minimum level and then brought the following week, unpacked and the appropriate pick bins replenished with all packaging removed from site. A further review of stock is then completed and so on.
