About this contract

Winchester City Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the Provision of Works under Disabled Facilities Grants. Winchester City Council's Private Sector Housing is seeking suitable contractors capable of carrying out adaptations to client's bathroom to meet their assessed needs under the Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG). Works will typically include for the stripping out of existing fittings and replacement as a wet room. The extent of the works will vary from case to case and the extent of works required will be determined by an Occupation Therapist's assessment of needs. In addition the scope will include for the provision of a minor works service. Works under this heading will typically involve the fitting of simple adaptations (such as the installation of handrails). The Contract will commence on 02 September 2019 and will be for a period of 3 years. Interested parties should register their interest in the project via the In-Tend website https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire, and complete and submit the tender return document together with any supporting information requested by 12:00 hrs on Tuesday 13 August 2019.
