About this contract

These comprise public realm improvement works at the Forest Road Blackhorse Road E17 junction as follows: - Narrowing of the existing carriageway on all four approaches to the traffic signal junction to provide segregated cycle tracks and wider pedestrian footways. - Use of granite paving to enhance the footways; - Carriageway resurfacing; - New traffic signalling infrastructure (installed by Transport for London) with associated civil works. - Alteration to highway drainage; - Planting of new trees; - Rationalising street furniture; - New street furniture including additional cycle parking throughout area to help promote sustainable travel.
