About this contract
Achieving for Children The London Borough of Richmond (LBRuT) and The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames (RBK) have taken the strategic decision to establish a jointly owned community interest company with effect from April 2014. Achieving for Children (AfC) is responsible for delivering and to some extent commissioning services for children and young people across Kingston and Richmond for and on behalf of both boroughs. It is within this context that separate Information, Advice and Support services are being commissioned for parents /carers with children are under 16 and for young people 16-25 years old. Whilst these two services must be totally separate, they can be overseen by one management framework. Clear transition pathways for young people into the 16-25 from the parent/carer/children service must be demonstrated
