The contract requires the provision of a compliant firefighting lift installation in accordance with BS EN 81-72:2020, BS 9999, and relevant Building Regulations, including Approved Document B. Contractors will be expected to coordinate closely with heritage, building services, and security stakeholders, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure and minimal aesthetic impact on listed features. Specific interface requirements include BMS integration, fire alarm interlocks, and mechanical ventilation enhancements within the shaft to meet smoke control provisions. The successful contractor will be required to deliver a complete design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning package, inclusive of all enabling works, builders' work in connection, and certification.
