Expression of Interest for Hughenden Primary School Extension The project will be contracted via a JCT Intermediate with Contractor?s Design 2011 Form of Contract with contract sum analysis (CSA) and price based upon schedule of works, specification plus drawings: 1. Creation of three new classrooms and ancillary facilities (312.5m2), a new meeting room (13.5m2), a new outdoor play area (255m2), additional car parking (440m2), external improvements and an extended staffroom. 2. The single storey classroom extension will infill a large recess formed between the existing school buildings. This will require the demolition of a uPVC link corridor and removal of an existing tree. 3. Elsewhere, there will be an extended classroom and new single storey store adjacent to the assembly hall. 4. A new covered external play area will be located directly outside the new classrooms. 5. External improvements to the main entrance area include better accessible parking, a wider ?dropoff? area, new paving, planting and fencing. 6. A new car parking area will be formed adjacent to the existing car park (440m2).
