About this contract

The Adult Social Care and Health Department’s Public Health Division at East Sussex County Council is seeking a provider for the provision of a Warm Home Check Service for the eligible population of East Sussex. East Sussex residents living in a cold home and/or in fuel poverty with access to tailored advice, interventions and services to reduce the impact to health and wellbeing of living in a cold home. The service will provide eligible vulnerable households (primarily in private tenures) with a holistic home energy/fuel poverty focused home assessment and provide advice on how best to keep their home warm and improve wellbeing. The requirement is to provide eligible vulnerable households with a small preventative works service, installing or providing a range of low-cost measures that contribute to energy efficiency and/or heating improvement. The requirement is also to secure additional external funding (e.g. via government’s Energy Company Obligation) to enable the installation of high-cost heating and insulation measures
