About this contract

The objective is to deliver a new, modern public library service which meets the needs of the local population from a refurbished and modernised building. The libraries are at the heart of the community and should be attractive, welcoming and inviting. The environment should promote reading for pleasure as well as more purposive pursuits. Services should be arranged in an attractive way which encourages people to visit and explore what the library has to offer.
