About this contract

This contract will cover the collection, disposal and recycling of a variety of office and operations-derived waste streams generated by our premises at the Thames Barrier and Associated Gates. Waste streams will include hazardous waste, WEEE and various recycled waste from our offices, workshops and Visitor Centre. There may also be a requirement on an ad-hoc basis for waste collection or pumping out of either oily water or septic tank waste from Associated Sites. Additional information: The closing time and date for Expressions of Interest is 15:00 on 07/11/2016. Please be aware there may be a requirement for a site visit during the tender period. All parties wishing to express their interest within the deadline will need to do so by logging on to the Environment Agency's procurement portal Bravo https://defra.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html , create an account, and express their interest against contract number 20129 on Bravo. Those who respond by the closing date will be sent Invitation to Tender Documents via Bravo. Tenders will be evaluated based on Most Economically Advantageous Tender based on quality and price ratio and evaluation criteria set out in the Invitation to Tender document.
