About this contract

The EA requires natural stone aggregate for embankment repairs to the tidal River Ouse embankments in East Sussex. The aggregate supplied will need to be equivalent with the existing natural stone aggregate (Kentish Ragstone) - see attached document for details. Additional information: The closing time and date for Expressions of Interest is 15:00 on 15/12/2016. All parties wishing to express their interest within the deadline will need to do so by logging on to the Environment Agency's procurement portal Bravo https://defra.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html , create an account, and express their interest against contract number 20154 on Bravo. Those who express their interest must also complete the Qualification Response Form which includes providing up to 3 samples of aggregate which meet the specification included. Those who respond by the closing date, provide a compliant qualification response and sample(s), will be sent Invitation to Tender Documents via Bravo. Tenders will be evaluated based on Most Economically Advantageous Tender based on quality and price ratio and evaluation criteria set out in the Invitation to Tender document.
