About this contract
Dimensional river channel survey for 30km of the River Rother downstream of Robertsbridge and other channels on Romney Marsh, Kent, amounting to approximately 500 cross-sections. Additional information: Tenderers will be required to be members of The Survey Association (TSA) or to be "Regulated by RICS" (with at least one chartered land surveyor). As part of the tender response, tenderers will also be required to provide an example of a channel survey containing at least 100 cross-sections which has been carried out in accordance with the Environment Agency Standard Contract and Specification for Surveying Services within the last 18 months and includes deliverables of written survey report, survey control, plan, long-section, cross-sections and digital channel survey data in ISIS and EACSD format. In the absence of such examples, tenderers must provide evidence of experience in comparable large scale survey projects. Tender documents will be sent to companies which register on the Environment Agency's eTendering system, Bravo solutions (https://defra.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html), before the deadline for expressions of interest (16:00 on Friday 30th September) and satisfy the above requirements.
