About this contract
Tees Valley Combined Authority intends to develop of a programme of measures which will stimulate the greater use of low emission vehicles within the Tees Valley and reduce our carbon footprint. The first stage of this programme is to develop a road map and delivery model which will enable us to address gaps in our current network of electric vehicle charging points across the five boroughs of Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-On-Tees. Support is required from an experienced organisation with demonstrable knowledge, expertise and experience of working with local stakeholders to develop a similar public sector project. This should include providing a delivery model that encompasses the needs of car, vans, taxis, refuse collection vehicles and electric cargo bikes and different users including the commercial sector, private car users and local authorities. Details of the development support required for the subsequent stages of our programme will be published at a later stage.
