About this contract

The London Borough of Waltham Forest (the \"Authority\") is seeking to grant services concession contracts to install, maintain and operate Electric Vehicle (EV) Charge Points (EVCPs). This would be through a non-exclusive agreement and involves an initial network of slow to fast (3-22kW) EVCPs on residential streets. This initial network would focus on strategic locations in residential areas and locations that will help to raise the profile of EVs. The Council has no funding available to cover any external costs such as installation and maintenance of a network; therefore a services concession contract is being sought. Prospective suppliers must take this into account and any proposals that require the borough to fund external costs will not be considered.
