About this contract
The Equality & Human Rights Commission is inviting proposals for important research into the housing rights and experiences of disabled people in England, Scotland and Wales. It will inform a formal Commission inquiry into the issue which was launched in December 2016. Research into the housing needs and experiences of disabled people in England, Scotland and Wales comprising of two lots. The first entails a review of existing evidence to identify gaps and to conduct primary research with disabled people. The second comprises a quantitative survey of local authorities (LAs). We will be looking for bidders who have knowledge and expertise in the field of housing and disabled people in each of the three nations and a proven track record of high quality research. Lot 1 bidders will have the ability to conduct desk research and primary qualitative research with disabled people. Bidders for Lot 2 are required to have the capacity and skills to design and run quantitative surveys with organisations.
