About this contract

All correspondence is via the Councils e-tendering software ProContract hosted on the South East Business Portal (SEBP). New Forest District Council (NFDC) are carrying out this procurement exercise to identify, select and award a contract for the Air Quality Monitoring services lots A and B. The Council will use the tender to determine best cost / service quality outcome and therefore reserves the right to award individual contracts for Lot A and Lot B or single contract for both Lots. This means that the contract award may be to two (2) suppliers or a single supplier. The Awarded supplier(s) must satisfy the Councils selection criteria and have submitted compliant bids under this tender exercise. NFDC currently operates two NOx gas analysers, two SO2 gas analysers and two PM10 TEOM analysers over four monitoring sites in the district. The current separate contracts for maintenance (including servicing) and data management for the air quality monitoring stations including the display of air quality website information, expires at the end of December 2016. NFDC is seeking a supplier who can provide a proactive preventative maintenance and repair programme to continue to maintain the analysers operating in the New Forest district, and a supplier to effectively manage the data from the air quality management sites in a timely manner including the display of local air quality data on a website. Tenders can be submitted by suppliers for either contract or for both contracts. NFDC reserves the right to remove and / or re-new equipment associated with the air quality monitoring sites, therefore both contracts need to have the ability to modify or remove equipment at a pro-rata cost. The preferred supplier must fully meet (or exceed) the specification. The outcome contract will be awarded for a contract period of 3 years, with optional extension period of 2 years. By confirming an expression of interest in this contract opportunity, tenderers will automatically receive a link to the tender information including the full specification, contract terms and tenderer response forms. All correspondence is via the Councils e-tendering software ProContract hosted on the South East Business Portal (SEBP).
