About this contract

Dorset County Council on behalf of Dorset Waste Partnership are seeking to procure Nine 7.5 tonne Tippers with a minimum payload of 3,000kg. The vehicles are used for a range of services including the collection of bulky fly tips and the collection of litter from high speed road cleansing, the delivery and collection of Recycle 4 Dorset, Garden Waste and Trade bins to residential and commercial addresses. The DWP is committed reducing the number of journeys to disposal sites and depots and vehicles with a minimum of 3,000kg payload have been identified as a key requirement for the Tippers. Dorset County Council will <u>not</u> accept bids from Suppliers if the <u>complete</u> vehicle offered cannot reach the minimum achievable payload of 3,000kg. <i></i> Additional information: Dorset County Council on behalf of Dorset Waste Partnership are seeking to procure Nine 7.5 tonne Tippers with a minimum payload of 3,000kg. Dorset County Council will not accept bids from Suppliers if the complete vehicle offered cannot reach the minimum achievable payload of 3,000kg. As a Prime Contractor the supplier will be required to manage the full build of the complete vehicle and transportation between all manufacturing locations and delivery to the agreed location in Dorset.
