About this contract

The procurement is for the provision of Drug and Alcohol testing services for parents and care givers of children alleged to be in need of protection. The service is designed to assist social workers in their assessments and support decision making in child protection and care proceedings. The outcome of the tests combined with sound clinical judgement is aimed at strengthening child safety for children in need of care and protection.    The procurement is for the provision of DNA testing services to establish paternity including sampling and collection to inform the decision making process in children in need, child protection and court proceedings. The outcome of the tests combined with sound clinical judgement is aimed at strengthening child safety for children in need of care and protection.
