About this contract

A disability register to support the local authority in the provision of high quality data which will contribute to inform and shape current and future services more effectively. This provision requires to be extended by the means of a discount card in order to provide financial discounts and opportunities for parents of young people with special needs to access affordable leisure activities. The 1989 Children Act requires every local authority to keep a register or database of children and young people with significant special needs.
