About this contract
The project involves the design and refurbishment of the existing Gissing Building ground floor to provide new teaching space for Wakefield College's music department. The site currently comprises of a 2 storey 1920's building consisting of teaching accommodation, plant rooms and storage. Employer's Initial Design Information The Employer is currently engaged with the following team in order to progress the design through RIBA Stage 2 whilst the mini competition progresses: Mace Cost Consultancy (Project Manager) Mace Cost Consultancy (Cost Management) The design documents produced to date are included within the Mini Competition documents. Please note that the design will be progressing whilst the mini-competition process is carried out; therefore the plans / details may be subject to change. The contractor will then take over responsibility and liability for the design from the end of RIBA Stage 2. Additional information: The College requires the area to be completed in autumn 2018.
