About this contract
Crawley Borough Council ('the Council') is seeking to commission consultants to undertake a review of the existing Open Space, Sport and Recreation Study 2014-2030 and a separate but related Playing Pitch Strategy to meet the requirements of Paragraph 93 of the National Planning Policy Framework . The outcome of the study will be used to inform the development of policies to ensure a sufficient amount of high quality open space in the right places whilst making the most of the limited amount of land within Crawley to meet the wider needs of residents and visitors over the Plan period. The Council is procuring this contract following an open local tender process. The duration of the Contract is anticipated to be for nine to twelve months. It is anticipated that the contract will commence at the beginning of May 2019. The Council intends to award the Contract to one organisation.
