About this contract

The Connecting Devon and Somerset Programme are seeking to procure Broadband- Technical Advisory and Programme Management Services to support the Programme with a wide range of challenging contract management issues, as well as a number of other activities, such as state aid, communications issues, data analysis, mapping and advising on community broadband schemes. It is envisaged that the Broadband- Technical Advisory and Programme Management Services will be appointed to start working with the Programme from 2017 on a Three year contract, ending July 2020, with a two year review point (July2019) and the option to extend by 12 months until July 2021.. It should be noted that as part of this Programme the Authorities will be appointing other advisers, such as legal advisers, and digital utilisation specialists to assist implementation . The appointed Broadband- Technical Advisory and Programme Management Services will be expected to work in close harmony with these other advisers and will be an integral part of the Programme Team.
