About this contract

The purpose/objective of the ground investigation is to provide additional information to confirm and amplify the geotechnical findings of the Preliminary Sources Study and to obtain detailed knowledge of the soils likely to be encountered and their likely engineering behaviour. The information gleaned will be used to aid design and to enable further revision of the geotechnical risk register.
