About this contract
The Services being procured are Architectural (Lead Designer), including Landscape Architectural, Fire Engineering and Acoustic Engineering services for the development of a new Destination Water and Leisure Facility in Coventry, circa £26m, to include demolition of existing buildings. The new facility will be located within Coventry City Centre on a tightly constrained site that is located in close proximity to a Grade 2 * listed building (Christchurch Spire) and the High Street Conservation area. The Council’s key vision for the development of the site is: To provide an exciting, iconic, high quality destination water and leisure facility that is accessible to everyone, draws people to Coventry and acts as a catalyst for the regeneration of the city centre, increases footfall and contributes to the Council’s healthy living objectives.
