About this contract
The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) in Cambridgeshire as the lead commissioner (on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council) is seeking to commission a ‘specialist VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) sector provider’ or consortium of providers to deliver a county-wide support service provision for victims of sexual violence. It is expected the successful bidder will be part of a co-funding arrangement. The funding is expected to enable a solid infrastructure to be put in place from which the provider would be expected to add additional value through the use of volunteers, innovation and co-funding arrangements. This end to end service must ensure victims experience an identical offer of support no matter where they live in the county. The service must provide open access through a single point of contact. This will ensure victims can exercise their entitlement under the Code of Practice for Victims of Crime to receive support services whether they are seeking a criminal justice or social justice outcome. Bidders should be aware of the commissioner’s intention to merge two separate contracts into this contract to deliver: • Children and Young Person ISVA provision • Additional adult ISVA provision Additional information: Please note the Tender process will be available to view once it have been approved by TED. Published 13.10.16.
