About this contract
Text to be corrected in the original notice: Place of text to be modified: Date: 1/04/2019 Instead of: 01 April 2019 Time: 12:00 Read New: 12 April 2019 Time: 12:00 Other additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. BEIS intends to appoint contractors to conduct a range of comparative experimental tests using both natural gas and hydrogen that simulate scenarios found in domestic environments to quantify the relative risk of using hydrogen versus natural gas as part of demonstrating and de-risking the use of hydrogen for heating in UK homes and businesses. This work is part of the Hy4Heat programme and will be managed and coordinated by Arup+, who have been appointed by BEIS as the programme management contractor for the Hy4Heat programme
