About this contract

The Authority is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of its Minor Building Works for Housing type works to assist with the delivery of the responsive repairs plan The Framework arrangement will consist of an initial duration of 2 years with 2 further options to extend up to 12 months each at the sole discretion of the Authority The Authority will be acting as Principal Contractor and the successful bidder will be acting as a Sub Contractor and will be rereferred to as the Contractor It is envisaged that up to 5 Contractors will be appointed to the Framework in each lot The Authority intends to have 2 lots Lot 1 is for general building work Lot 2 is for general building works including damp proofing works Contractors are able to apply to be in one or both lots Contractors in Lot 2 must be a member of the Property Care Association.
