About this contract

Bath and North East Somerset is seeking residual waste treatment and / or disposal outlets for use on a contingency basis. Bids are invited for one or both Lots, namely: LOT 1 - Treatment Services - Kerbside Residual Waste LOT 2 - Treatment and/or Disposal Services - Bulky Residual Waste The Council may award more than one Contract within each Lot where it demonstrates value for money to do so, and consideration will be given to the proximity principle and the environmental impact of tenders when awarding the Contract(s). It is planned that the Contract(s) for Lot 1 and Lot 2 will commence on 3 February 2025 ("the Commencement Date") and continue for a Term of 2 years, with -an option for the Council to extend the Term on one or more occasions up to 2 February 2029. This is for contingency services only, there will be no guarantee of tonnages under the agreed contract(s).
