Consultants: these are individuals which are managed by the suppliers and are responsible for delivering the audits and action plans as described.) <br/><br/>(The carbon audit tool to be used on all farms will be provided through AHDB and is being procured through a separate contract (tender reference: 2024-725)). <br/>This carbon audit and subsequent action plan will be delivered on 170 participating farms in the www.ahdb.org.uk/baselining . AHDB wants to determine a net carbon balance for each farm business, reporting at the business, enterprise and system level. The participating farms will include a range of farm enterprises, including but not limited to all AHDB levy sectors i.e. Cereals & Oilseeds, Beef and Lamb, Dairy and Pork. Many farms will be mixed farms and may involve sectors and activities not covered by the AHDB levy. The farms participating in this pilot have been selected based on several factors to optimise regional spread, and distribution of soil type, sector, system and land management practices.£1
