About this contract

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is looking to construct a new 60 Bed dementia residential care home and a 45 place Learning Disability Day Care Centre on the site of the existing Priory House and Priory School in Burr Hill Chase, Southend-on-Sea. Project will also include landscaping, access roads and car parking, along with the demolition of the existing care home, under a JCT Standard Building Contract With Quantities, 2016 Edition. The Council now wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver this project, which consists of the following three sections: Section 1 - Enabling Works and Car Parking for Priory House Completion date: 11th May 2019 Section 2 - Construction of New Care Home and Day Centre, partial landscaping Completion date: 27th March 2020 Section 3 - Demolition of Priory House and final landscaping Completion date: 20th July 2020 Further details are set out in tender documents.
