About this contract
NHS England is looking to commission a programme of work for a community/primary care based, holistic lower-leg wound care programme that aligns with the CARE Programme methodology and the National Wound Care Strategy work. By taking this approach the programme will integrate clinical wound care with broader determinants of health such as nutrition, mental health, housing and social support while taking a person-centred approach to care. The successful supplier will be expected to: - Deliver masterclasses to ensure widespread knowledge dissemination and practical application of best practices. - Deliver focussed workshops and tailored support to adapt and sustain best practices beyond the funded period. - Ensure alignment of resources with national frameworks and best practices for consistency and effectiveness - Collect data and evaluate skills development of participants - Provide a structured approach for organisations to assess current wound care caseloads and practices - Ensure relevant organisations and professionals are engaged in the programme - Establish a steering group to oversee the programme's execution and ensure continuity The closing date for this opportunity is 12pm GMT Thursday 27th February. The maximum financial envelope for this requirement is £102,000 exc. VAT. Any bids that come in above this figure will be rejected.
