About this contract
The Commissioner is seeking expressions of interest for a Community Pain Management Service. Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group invites tenders for the above service. The Commissioner is seeking a Provider / Providers able to deliver a service which can meet the health needs of the local populations of Shropshire CCG. The Service: The Commissioner wishes to receive responses to the Invitation to Tender (ITT) from suitably qualified and experienced Pain Management providers with the necessary capacity and capability (or a demonstrable ability to provide the necessary capacity and capability) to provide a Community Pain Management Service. The Service shall:- • Provide a community based pain management service • Provide a service which complies with latest guidance • Provide equity of access to service users • Provide access to a range of disciplines and interventions that can deal with the physical, psychological and social needs of service users with chronic pain • Provide a service which ensures that patient needs can be met within community settings wherever clinically appropriate reducing the need for secondary care intervention. • Work in partnership with a range of providers to identify further pathway development. All of the above should be provided within the geographical boundaries of Shropshire unless stated otherwise. The contract will be for an initial period of Three years with the option to extend for up to a further twelve months. The anticipated contract commencement date is 1st October, 2016. You must submit your reply on the website by no later than 1700 hours on 19th May, 2016.
