About this contract

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) are working for and on behalf of NHS North Durham Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Durham Dales, Easington and Sedgefield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCGs), who wish to commission Community Optometry Services within the North Durham, Durham Dales, Easington and Sedgefield localitiesThe contract is for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The initial contract term will commence on 1st April 2019, ending on 31st March 2022. The extension period, which will be awarded at the discretion of the CCGs will commence on 1st April 2022 ending on 31st March 2024.It is anticipated that the Tender documents will be made available to view on the Proactis portal on 19th September 2018.
