About this contract
CP&R and Southend CCG wish(es) to secure Providers for the provision of Community Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Services and have advertised this Procurement opportunity through https://online.contractsfinder.businesslink.gov.uk/?site=1000&lang=en and on the CP&R CCG website. The Any Qualified Provider (AQP) model is an accreditation process underpinned by ‘call-off’ of a Provider's services determined according to patients’ choice. The key objectives of this AQP are to: • Deliver a high quality, cost effective Community Carpal Tunnel Decompression Service • Support appropriate management of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in the community. • Reduce the number of referrals to the acute unless complex decompression procedure is necessary. • Ensure that decompression surgery is only provided when conservative treatment has failed to reduce symptoms. The provider will have regular clinical audits (annually) in place that measures the effectiveness and quality of the service provided in accordance with current good practice, and the requirements set out in this specification. Results of the clinical audit must be reported to the CCG, and should the CCG wish to follow them up the provider will allow appropriate access to premises and equipment as required. Additional information: If you would like to express an interest for this service please access the Bravo portal at link below to view all documentation before 5pm on 22nd June 2016 https://attain.bravosolution.co.uk
