About this contract
Please note: this is a call off Lot 11 of the Merseytravel Consultancy Services Multi Party Framework Arrangement - May 2015 – March 2019 and only available to suppliers on Lot 11 of the above mentioned framework. Scope of Project The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) was established by statutory instrument under the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 on 1 April 2014. The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, working with Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, strategically leads work on transport, economic development, housing, employment and skills in the City Region to support sustainable economic growth. The Key Route Network has been defined by the 6 constituent authorities. The KRN has a total length of 560 kms out of a total highway length of 5706.9 kms within the 6 authorities The LCRCA is looking to engage a suitably qualified consultant to:- a) Undertake Asset Condition Surveys of the KRN Survey Requirement • SCANNER (Ckm both directions) • CVI (Ckm 100% coverage both directions ) • DVI (Ckm via video surveys 100% coverage both directions) • SCRIM (Ckm both directions) Shapefiles will be provided; the output must be compatible with - but not restricted to – UKPMS formats. b) Develop a City Region Highways Infrastructure Policy and Strategy The Policy and Strategy will be a combined document and adhere to the principles of PAS 55, the Publicly Available Standard for Asset Management c) Develop a Key Route Network Carriageway Lifecycle Plan (CLP)
