About this contract
Staffordshire Police have commenced a large scale ‘systems thinking’ transformational programme. As such it is imperative that organisational development and workforce planning approach aligns to this method and drives the organisational culture that is required to meet the vision ensuring the workforce possess the appropriate skills, attitudes knowledge and behaviours. One of the key strategic themes in the Organisational Development (OD) strategy is to create a Learning Organisation. To assist with the transformation programme and support our teams to move towards a learning organisation we want to promote a coaching culture. We aim appoint an ILM accredited centre to deliver coaching development to a diverse range of managers. We have approximately 700 first and second line managers that are a mixture of police officers and police staff. The majority of which will not have received any formal coaching training. A number of these managers will require coaching to full ILM accreditation at varying levels; others will require a more basic ‘development’ level of coaching but still require an award or accreditation of some degree. We wish to appoint an independent training provider to deliver ILM accredited Coaching training to Managers within the force at three levels.
