About this contract
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (LBBD) in partnership with the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have secured £20,000 of external funding to deliver training sessions to staff across LBBD, CCG, NELFT and BHRUT to identify and support hidden carers and known carers. Once identified carers are supported with information and signposted to the Carers’ Hub and Carers’ Assessments as appropriate. Training Breakdown 250 members of frontline staff across the partnership. 1x 3 hour sessions of training per individual to be delivered in groups of between 20-25 people It is anticipated that the training will commence towards the end of March/early April and will continue to be delivered into the early part of the next financial year 2016/17. Submissions Providers are invited to submit a proposal of training for the funding of £20,000 which is to include the following • Outline training plan • Course content (this should be interactive and cater for different learning styles) • Coarse materials (both electronic and hard copy) • Training location – including start times • Costs for refreshments and lunch and venues • Resources including publicity materials, including pens, leaflets etc • Publicity – detailing the various routes used for publicity and how clients can book on the course • Certificate/ Record of attendance • Evaluation report broken down as; - Pre and post evaluation of course - 3-6 month evaluation report on implementation of training Submission Deadline Submissions should be sent electronically to arabjan.iqbal@lbbd.gov.uk by 2pm Monday 29 February 2016
