About this contract

Cambridge City Council, on behalf of partners South Cambridgeshire District Council and Huntingdonshire District Council, wish to commission a Supplier to deliver a comprehensive review of the 3C ICT Shared Service. The review will need to provide an options appraisal for each of the three Councils that meets their individual or collective needs. It is expected that the Supplier will have experience of working with public sector bodies to review ICT, including shared services, and supporting them to transition to and implement new arrangements or agreements. The Supplier should be experienced in providing independent strategic and technical advice; and able to demonstrate where they have implemented best practice and quantify the benefits achieved. We require the Supplier to find areas of commonality and difference, identify Councils' specific requirements, and translate these into a future operating model.
