About this contract

Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Ashbourne Academy is a 1300 student Phase 2 Academy located in Green Road, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The Academy wish to appoint a service provider to undertake routine and periodic cleaning of the buildings. The total building floor area is approximately 11,000 sq.m. It is envisaged that the contract will be awarded for 3 years with 2 x 2 year optional extensions. The key contract elements are; • Daily routine cleaning and periodic deep cleaning of all internal areas; • A responsive day time janitorial service; • A rolling programme of carpet cleaning; • A rolling programme of hard floor stripping and resealing; QEGS formed a Multi Academy Trust, QEGSMAT, in 2016 which currently comprises Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Castle View Primary, Matlock, Waterhouse Primary near Ashbourne and Springfield Junior School in Swadlincote. As the Multi-Academy Trust continues to grow there may be scope to open up exciting future opportunities to the successful Contractor.
