About this contract

Invitation to tender for Roof repair to Bourne Leisure Centre, Queens Road, Bourne, PE10 9DX. Background Bourne Leisure Centre was built in 1990 and has provisions for wet and dry facilities, including a leisure pool area with wave machine, slides and fountains, a 32-station gym, exercise studios, badminton courts and a café area. Scope of services The works will comprise of the preparation and redecoration of an approximate 1800m2 pitched, profiled metal roof, with removal and replacement of all linear rooflights, cleaning and decoration of box gutters and minor maintenance refixing of ancillary roof system items. The works will require removal and reinstatement of existing PV solar panelling to facilitate access for decoration. All works in accordance with current Building Regulations and British Standards. It is intended that the works commence at the earliest opportunity and the programme to include minimum pool closure. Site Visits will be held in 50 min slots from 9:00 AM on 18 September 2023.
