About this contract
Bourne Hall is located in the heart of historic Ewell Village on the headsprings of the River Hogsmill. Part of the building is on hire for wedding receptions, civil ceremonies, meetings and conferences. Remaining part of the building contain library, café and museum area. The importance of high-quality toilet facilities cannot be underestimated for the building that hold venues listed above. Public toilets are especially important for older people, disabled people, families (especially those with babies and very young children), tourists and visitors. The aim of this project is to refurbish existing male toilets to a prestigious condition which will help to attract hirers as well as offer a number of energy saving solutions including reduced water and electricity use. The proposed refurbishment includes the following: Provision of wall linings to all previously tiled internal wall areas Replacement of toilet cubicles and duct linings Replacement of WC pans and flushing system Replacement of urinals and flushing system Replacement of vanity unit Provision of mains water supply and replacement of water heater Redecoration of areas around windows Removal of internal lobby door and frame Replacement of toilet entrance door Replacement of heating radiator Replacement of suspended ceiling Replacement of flooring Provision of new extraction system Replacement of hand driers The works must be carefully phased to ensure minimal disruption to venues and occupants throughout duration of the works.
