About this contract
This tender is for an Interpretation Designer for the interpretation elements of the project with the aim of creating an updated visitor attraction based around the theme of Hide and Seek and broadening the audience to include family visitors. The scheme will significantly improve the interpretation, making the site a more attractive proposition to potential visitors, increasing satisfaction and dwell time. The current programme will see the new visitor experience open to the public on 22nd May 2020. Boscobel is a site whose importance in national history is not reflected in its current visitor offer or numbers. The overall project of which this tender is part, seeks to revamp the café, build a new play area and improve the standards of services as well as re-interpret the house and farm and breathe new life into the garden and Royal Oak spaces.
