About this contract

Chesterfield Borough Council (i.e. the Client) invites tenders to carry out a Boiler replacement upgrade at the Winding Wheel in Chesterfield. This includes the removal of the existing pressure jet gas fired heating boilers 2no Hoval 300kw boilers and associated chimney flue system and replacing them with 4 Packaged Ideal Evomax 150kw condensing boilers a new flue dilution system including alterations to existing pipework. The site will remain fully operational during the construction phase of the project; there will need to be an organised period of shutdown to enable the old and new systems to be swapped over, at this stage it is anticipated that this will be on the 11th – 13th January 2016 inclusive, this work will need carefully planning with a number of stakeholders, i.e. the venues and the church.
