About this contract
1.9 The Building Management System (BMS) system at the Trusts Birmingham Women's Hospital (BWH) site is currently an obsolete Sauter system & requires upgrade & replacement. The Trust have selected a new BMS system across all buildings provided by Distech. The existing Sauter BMS at BWH is split into three separate systems of controllers on one head end. The BACNET/Modbus controllers & Sauter EY3600 network have been integrated with the new Distech Head End server which is already installed in the BMS server room in the Estates building & at this time do not require replacement. However the older EY2400 network controllers are unable to be integrated onto the Distech system and as a result require replacement to enable there connection to the Distech server & to enable the Sauter system to fully decommissioned.
