About this contract

The Trust has an in-house Infection Control team that has been supported by external staff. The Infection Control service is looking to continue this structure, in a contractual relationship in order to define the expectations of both parties. As an NHS organisation BCHC is required to put Infection Control at the heart of good management and clinical practice. BCHC has a duty of care to its patients and preventing infection forms part of that duty of care. The successful contractor is expected to support BCHC to fulfill our Infection Control requirements. The Services to which this Tender relates fall outside the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the Regulations). For the allocated funding for this service provision refer to Document 4.
