About this contract

West Sussex County Council invites tenders for the provision of a restoration and leachate control scheme at Baystone Farm Closed Landfill Site. Scheme to include installation of leachate cut-off barrier and French drain; importation and placing of clean fill material to re-profile to suitable contours; with final landscaping and planting. Scheme to be let as one Contract. Site works to be overseen by WSCC Appointed Consultants. Works to be carried out according to the ‘Specification for Highways Works’. Contractors must comply with the below points: - Experienced in dealing with contaminated materials arising on site - Possess a waste carrier’s license with the Environment Agency, where required - Drainage works shall comply with the Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry 7th Edition (CESW17). Interested parties will be required to complete a PQQ document for shortlisting to full tender stage. A Mandatory site visit will take place on the 11th June, details can be found within the tender pack.
