About this contract

Torbay Pharmaceuticals require their vial line to be automated. Currently vials are double handled during the inspection, labelling and carton packing process. The specification will set out the requirements of the design, build, installation and commissioning of the automation of the vial packing line.The packaging department at Torbay Pharmaceuticals require the process of the packaging their current range of 20ml, 50ml and 100ml vials into boxes of 10 vials and single vial cartons to be automated. Several pieces of automatic packing equipment have been purchased and are located in the packing area and are used as stand-alone pieces of equipment. There is a requirement to link these automated pieces of equipment together to enable them to interact together and become a semi-automated/automated packing line.
