About this contract

NHS England (NHSE) are commencing a tender to support the provision for Aspirant Cancer Career and Education Development (ACCEND).<br/><br/>The aim of this procurement is to identify a provider(s) to support this new and ambitious multi-partnership programme that seeks to address significant challenges and issues that have faced the nursing and AHP workforce in cancer for many years, and which have been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. An essential element to address some of these challenges is to ensure that (1) a standardised QIS (Qualification in Speciality) - a Postgraduate Certificate and (2) a Professional development and clinical leadership module are created and aligned to the ACCEND Framework.

This is an exciting opportunity to support NHS England with this provision.<br/><br/>The maximum financial envelope for this procurement exercise is £635,000 Exclusive of Vat and the contract period will be for one (1) year, with an option to extend by an additional one (1) year subject to a review of performance and available budget.<br/><br/>• Lot 1 - £435,000 Ex Vat - Qualification in specialty (QIS): Postgraduate Certificate in Cancer Care <br/>• Lot 2 - £200,000 Ex Vat - Postgraduate module: Professional development and clinical leadership in cancer care<br/><br/>The deadline for completed ITT submissions will be 2nd October 2023 at 12:00pm (midday). <br/><br/>Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time.
