About this contract

Hull City Council is seeking bids from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to undertake the works required in regards to asbestos. This contract is 'split' in to three distinct LOTS. These are:- • LOT 1 - Air Monitoring (Asbestos Project Management, Air Monitoring, & Clearance Air Testing) • LOT 2 - Removal of asbestos (Asbestos Abatement for Demolition, Refurbishment & Maintenance Projects) • LOT 3 - Surveying (Asbestos Management Surveys, Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys, and Bulk Sampling). All bidders may submit a tender for one, two, or all three of these LOTS. As legal Regulations apply, the contracted supplier for (LOT 2) Removals, cannot be the same contracted supplier for (LOT 1) Air Monitoring. To provide opportunity to all suppliers, the Council shall contract to one Supplier per LOT. This means that there shall be three successful Contractors. In the event that a supplier for a LOT 1 is awarded the highest marks also submits a bid for, and is the preferred supplier for either of the other LOTS, then this eventuality shall be resolved by instead awarding the contract for whichever of the LOTS the supplier scored the highest marks.
